Todos os episódios de
Frasier terminavam assim:
“Frasier has left the building!” .
“
Ressuscitaram” o seu pai, mas “
mataram-lhe” a mãe e alteraram a profissão e o carácter dessas personagens.
Frasier e
Niles desconsideram.
Daphne, a empregada doméstica/fisioterapeuta que encanta
Niles, as constantes conquistas de
Frasier e de seu pai
Martin e finalmente
Lilith e
(http://br.youtube.com/watch?v=M1dZHjfg13Y).
Enzo. Faleceu em Junho de 2006 com 16 anos.
English Translation:Every episode of Frasier ended this way: “Frasier has left the building!”. Translated, it means “Frasier is gone”! But Frasier would not go away that quickly.
It stayed on air for 11 years. And what great years! A funny intelligent script, far away from the easy humor that gave success to other shows at the time. The public glued to Frasier with a voyeur appetite.
You can’t almost remember that Frasier was a cross-over character from Cheers, another great sitcom that came to an end in the year of Frasier’s coming: 1993. Although the audience knew him has the Boston bar client, the new family and professional oriented story of Frasier was much better to watch.
His father Martin was brought to life as a former police officer, now retired. Frasier mom had died and her character changed to a sweet understanding and loving woman, instead of the jealous mom that threatened Diane life for dating her son in Cheers. And the best of all, Frasier has a brother: Niles, also a psychologist.
And so, the story is lunched. Three men (with no baby) and their life with the women. There’s Ross, Frasier´s radio producer whose love for men and general culture kind of repulse both Frasier and Niles´s extreme moral sensibility. There’s Daphne, the house made/physiotherapist that enchants Niles, the constant Frasier and his dad conquests and finally Lilith and Maris, respectively Frasier’s ex-wife and sister-in-law. Maris is a fascinating character, as is Lilith (http://br.youtube.com/watch?v=6gJjhqrsW78). The first woman is never seen(http://br.youtube.com/watch?v=M1dZHjfg13Y). She exists only in the characters reactions and words. Lilith is an interesting character more so when she intellectually confronts Frasier and clearly comes out as the winner. And then there’s their son. He doesn’t appear much in the series, but when he does, is worth it. The boy proves whose blod runs on his veins when he intellectually deceives both parents into almost buying him a motor bike. The brother Niles is my favorite character. His affected manners, and delirious passion for Daphne are hilarious. But his annulling as an individual with Maris and the maturity and intellectual superiority when he psychoanalyzes his brother, makes him a full individual.
This is probably the best comedy sitcom ever. It certainly deserves this distintion. It presented a hilarious rich script, that cleverly renew it self during 11 years. Other sitcoms that whore around also achieved success and longevity but none was less close to “a formula” and got the same success as Frasier.Winner of 37 emmysTrivia: The dog Eddie, actually named Moose made the first 8 seasons of Frasier and then was substitute by his son, Enzo.
